Welcome to My Personal Page
On Sunday, October 2nd, I will be participating in the 2016 Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure. I have joined S.A.D's Redhots hosted by Stacy Jowett, one of the 3 "crazy running gals", and also my coach and my cheerleader. We are running in support of Stacy's mom who has beat breast cancer and maintains her sense of humour. She's strong like Stacy, and also a great running cheerleader!
Breast cancer is a cause that motivates me and I am excited to be contributing to Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation’s vision of creating a future without breast cancer. The money raised during the CIBC Run for the Cure helps to fund critical and groundbreaking research, education, and advocacy initiatives across the country. With an estimated 24,000 women and men diagnosed with breast cancer in 2013, I am glad to be helping to change those statistics—but I need your help to do it.
You can make a difference too by supporting me in my fundraising efforts. Together, we can help support Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation funded researchers like Dr. Michelle Cotterchio. She is studying how dietary choices can reduce the risk of breast cancer and hoping to develop new strategies for prevention. Dr. Cotterchio is just one of many innovative researchers that we can help to make an impact on breast cancer by raising funds during the 2014 CIBC Run for the Cure. If you’d like to see more ways in which your support is making a difference, take a look Your Impact at www.cibcrunforthecure.com.
Please donate to me and support my fundraising efforts. Together, we can help to create a future without breast cancer.
