Kelly's Kickin Cancer's Ass Team

1 in 9 Canadian women will get breast cancer in their lifetime.

Kelly's Kickin Cancer's Ass Team is a team of friends and family who have rallied in an amazing show of friendship and love to provide support during my journey through breast cancer diagnosis and treatment.  Sixteen months - a lumpectomy, four rounds of chemo, 20 radiation treatments, 18 Herceptin treatments and Tamoxifen for five years.  A very aggressive treatment plan but I wanted to do everything that I could to kick cancer's ass to the curb!  Today I feel good and strong and so thankful for all the medical research that has made advances in breast cancer treatment.  On October 1st we will walk/run together to show support and the hope that a cure can be found and breast cancer becomes a thing of the past.  A friend shared this quote "Cancer doesn't like it when you fight back" - we are fighting back and plan to kick cancer's ass to the curb!  Please join our team if you can or if you can't walk/run with us please donate to our team fundraising efforts!

Last year our team raised more than $10,000!  We can make a difference!

The money our team raises will help fund vital research, education and community support initiatives.

Fundraising works. Investments in innovative research and education by the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation have led to progress in breast cancer prevention, diagnosis, treatment and care.  As a result, mortality rates have decreased by 43% since the peak in 1986.

We are all in this together. Despite our successes, 67 women are still being diagnosed with breast cancer in Canada every day. Mothers, daughters, fathers, brothers, caregivers and friends; we will all be touched by breast cancer in our lifetime.

So please support our team and donate today. Help us reach our fundraising goal!

Together, we can help to create a future without breast cancer.

Thank you!
