S.A.D.'s Redhots

This is the forth year that the S.A.D's Redhot's are running. We are fortunate enough to have 2 survivors running with us who will be running with their daughters and granddaughters!  I am blessed to be the captain of such a great team filled with so many amazong friends and their family members.  This is a team filled with love, passion and a drive to kick cancers arse so our next generation does not have to deal with it!

As most of you know, my motivation to do this is my mom, Sheila A. Davis (S.A.D) who was diagnosed in 2013. It is because of the advances in research that mom did not have to do chemo. The more money that we can raise, the better research can get. My hope is that one day my daughter, and your daughter, will not have to worry about breast cancer.

Every year it seems like the story of someone else being diagnosed hits a little closer to home. I heard about another  young woman, a mother and profeaaional battling just the other day.  A friend of a friend. We need to be proactive and check ourselves, encourage others to check and donate to breast cancer research.

Two years ago, with your generosity, I was the #3 top fundraiser in Kingston. I hope as a team we can raise even more money. Asking for money is uncomfortable and hard.  I get that.  Seeing what my mother went through was uncomfortable and hard too.  Please post the link for your run page on your facebook.  You might be surprised at how easy it is to raise money for such a great cause!

I am so happy that you have decided to be part of this team who is full of heart and hope!

Much love and appreciation!!
